Ken Waters

Introducing our new Board Member and Chief Council at ICC, Mr. Waters, a trailblazer and strategic business maestro. With a rich academic background, Mr. Waters holds a B.A. in Political Science/History from the renowned University of California, Davis, and a J.D. from the prestigious Pepperdine University, Malibu, California. His career inception started in the legal field where he established a successful business law practice.

Pivoting from law to leadership, Mr. Waters ascended to the role of General Counsel, President, and CEO of ComputerLand, a global technology company. During his tenure, he spearheaded significant growth trajectories, leading to a triumphant sale to Warburg, Pincus & Company, a New York-based investment firm. His foresight and strategic acumen were further tested as he navigated a public offering assessment, joining forces with financial giants Solomon Brothers and Merrill Lynch.

Never one to rest on his laurels, in 1989, Mr. Waters launched his consulting practice. Specializing in corporate start-ups, growth strategies, turnarounds, restructuring, and M&A activities, his expertise became a sought-after asset across numerous sectors. Mr. Waters has collaborated with respected firms, including Frank Lynn & Associates in Chicago and Grisanti, Galef and Goldress in Atlanta.

With a clientele list as diverse as it is impressive, Mr. Waters’ influence spans AT&T, Williams-Sonoma, Pomeroy Resources Inc., Peerless Systems Inc., Michael Jordan Golf, Power Up Software, Celluland, Matrixx, Noland, and several Fortune 500 companies.
